These terms cover your use of Roto Dog at rotodog.com. By signing in, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
What Roto Dog is
A free fantasy sports app for running private leagues among people who know each other. It is run by one person as a personal project. It is not a gambling service: Roto Dog takes no money, holds no stakes, pays out no prizes, and has no facility to do any of those things.
Your account
- You sign in with Google. Keep that Google account secure — anyone with it can reach your Roto Dog account.
- You must be 13 or older.
- One account per person. Do not create accounts to occupy more than one team in a league without the commissioner's knowledge.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- harass, threaten or abuse other people in a league
- attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or anyone else's account
- scrape or automate the service in a way that degrades it for others
- use Roto Dog for anything illegal, including organising wagering on its results
Accounts that do these things can be suspended or removed.
Your content
Team names, league names and anything else you type stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service — storing it, and showing it to the other members of your leagues. We may remove content that breaks the rules above.
Sports data
Statistics come from the public MLB and NHL feeds. They can be delayed, revised after a game, or simply wrong at the source, and scoring computed from them can change when the source restates a stat. Roto Dog is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MLB, the NHL, or any team. Their names and marks belong to them.
Availability
Roto Dog is free and provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose data, or be discontinued. Do not treat it as the system of record for anything that matters to you. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending it
You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if the service shuts down.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use Roto Dog after that means you accept the new version.
